Who we are:

Welcome to the MOMS Club of Meridian, Idaho! MOMS (MOMS Offering Moms Support) Club is a registered international non-profit corporation. The first chapter was established in California in 1983. We have 2,000+ chapters in the US alone and over 100,000 members! We began our chapter in January of 2004, with 19 members and are growing rapidly. We strive to have fun, while supporting each other in the task of raising happy, healthy, and safe children. To meet this goal we have weekly playgroups, and about five activities throughout each month, giving members a chance to grow and learn as parents and build friendships We are a support group designed just for you, the at-home mother of today! You are interested in the world around you, want a variety of activities for you and your children, and are proud of your choice of at-home mothering for your families! We know, because we're at-home mothers, too!

Our chapter has monthly meetings, weekly outings for moms and their children and age-based playgroups, a monthly MOMS night out, and various holiday parties. There is a monthly newsletter that provides helpful information for moms and keeps members posted of the month's events. We are also active in serving the community with service projects to benefit mothers and children in need in our local area.

Our activities are during the day, when mothers-at-home need support. The only exception being our monthly MOMS Night Out. We believe being a mother shouldn't isolate you, so children are always welcome at our activities!

This club is not just about our children; it is also about us. As a stay-at-home mom it is difficult to meet new people and to tackle all of the tasks a mother has to do. The most important thing to remember is we are all here to support one another in any way possible. We know being an at-home mother today means making a financial sacrifice, so our dues are a minimal $20 a year. At-home mothers of any age children are welcome. You don't have to leave the group when your children enter school or when older children are home on summer break. We know you still need support as your children grow.
